Aiesec is an educational charity founded in 1948 by a handful of European business students. Since 1990 its international office is based at Rotterdam. The orginal name Association Internationale des Etudiants en Sciences Economiques et Commerciales was replaced by the acronym AIESEC.

It is now the world’s largest student’s organization based in 90+ countries across the world. As an umbrella organisation AIESEC is a platform for youth development through exchange.

Each year, AIESEC provides over 4,000 members across the globe the challenging opportunity to live and work in a foreign country in areas of management, information technology, education, and development.

The Netherlands chapter of AIESEC has its headquarters in Rotterdam, and consists at present of 9 Local Chapters in 10 universities. Every year, through their exchange program they send 300 Dutch students abroad, out of which 100 Dutch students go to various organizations in India to gain valuable work experience. They also receive a few Indian students to do internships in Dutch companies. The strict Dutch visa policy restricts the number of students from India.

AIESEC in India was established in 1981.At present AIESEC operates from 15 cities of India. The address of AIESEC India is:
