Assam and the Seven Sisters - Wildlife Sanctuary

Pabitora Sanctury
Pabitora Sanctury is a small wildlife sanctuaries of Assam.The sanctury is situated 50 km from Guwahati, in Morigaon District and has a flat terrain. Only exception is a hillock called Burha-Mayong.

The main attraction of the sanctury is the Indian one horned rhinoceros. civet cats, Leopard, Pangolin, Wild boar are some of the other animals found in this sanctury.

Pabitora sanctury is home to birds like adjutant stork, falcated teal, ferruginous duck , francolin, greylag goose, heron, pelican, white ibis, etc.

The best time to visit the sanctury is November to March.
