The biotechnology division of Kumar Properties was established in 1997 as a joint venture between Kumar Gen Tech & Tissue Culture Company and Florist de Kwakel, Holland. The company is actively involved in cloning of plants. In a short span of time has become India's premier tissue culture company.
Kumar Gen-Tech also has a joint venture with Van den Bos B.V, Holland for propagation and marketing of flower bulbs in India.
