GPI Consultancy is a Rotterdam-based consulting company and is specialised in the field of global IT outsourcing. Since 1994. GPI Consultancy acts as an independent advisors to Dutch and foreign clients.

They have three main fields of activity:
1. the promotion of global IT outsourcing in The Netherlands 
2. consulting activities in the field of offshore outsourcing 
3. intercultural training for IT-staff. 

GPI Consultancy assists their Dutch clients with providing general information on global outsourcing; feasibility study; country & partner selection, project management and (market) research. Due their extensive network in The Netherlands and their long-standing research, GPI Consultancy has an in-depth knowledge of the Dutch market for offshore outsourcing. They are also familiar with the supply side in many parts of the world.

Communication is an important issue in international IT-projects, especially when the national cultures of the people involved are very different. GPI Consultancy provides Intercultural training and conducted workshops for clients like Invensys/Baan and ING Group on 'how to deal with the Indian business culture' for Dutch users and 'how to deal with the Dutch business culture' for Indian IT-staff.
