Shell's Hazira project is the latest and currently the largest of Shell Group ventures in India. With an investment of over US$ 600 million, it is one of the largest Foreign Direct Investment projects in energy sector in India. Shell's Haziraproject brings world-class experience in delivering liquefied natural gas (LNG) to India. Shell India has recently been granted permission to market transportation fuels in the country.

Bharat Shell Limited, a joint venture between Shell Overseas Investments B.V.(an affiliate of the Royal Dutch/Shell Group) and Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd. (BPCL), markets a range of Shell branded lubricants in India.

Shell Gas (LPG) India Private Limited, a fully-owned Shell subsidiary, markets LPG under the brand name "Shell Gas" in parts of Western and Central India. Shell Gas services both the packed and bulk segments of the LPG market.

Shell Solar India Limited, brings to India Shell's commitment to renewable energy. Shell Solar markets solar-powered home lighting units in rural districts of South India.
