World Servants is a Christian (interdenominational) development assistance organization, that, already for 15 years, realizes building projects with hundreds of volunteers in several countries. Together with the local community, youngsters and adults build, in three or four weeks, a clinic, a school or a couple of houses. A World Servants project is an experience that has a lifelong impact, on the local community as well as on the participants.

Since 1997 is World Servants active in India in Kartanaka en Tamil Nadu. The projects are mainly to improve the standard of living of the poor. For example a local organisation started a training centre for both adult and children in Bangalore. As they needed permanent structure World Servants built a hostel at the nearby village of Bethamangala. A workshop and school rooms will be added to the building.
