The "Boomerang Foundation" is a small foundation situated in Tilburg. The main activity of Boomerang is to financially support the Crescent Upper Primary School in Ongole, India. This is done through a schoolbond - an agremeent between a school in India and a school in the Netherlands. From june 2001 the the 'Paulusschool' of Wijchen has a school-bond with the Crescent Upper Primary School.

Besides financial assistance Boomerang also supports the Crescent Upper Primary School through advice and training. They also send students from Dutch Teachers training Institutions for a few months practical training in India.

One of the aims of the Crescent Educational Society is to abolish child labour and make education available to all children.

Under the title 'Karnapur' Boomerang Foundation has special information material on India meant for primary schools, libraries, 'werldwinkels' and other organisations. The cost of the material is Euro 35,00/week plus transportation cost. VAT is not included in this price.
