The Hospitaller Order of Saint John of God is an international Religious Order of Brothers providing health, social care and pastoral services to sick, vulnerable and disadvantaged people in around 50 countries throughout the world.

The legacy of its founder, Saint John of God, is a mission of hospitality and compassion that has continued and grown over five centuries. Today over 400 services impact daily on the lives of tens of thousands of people.

The Order follows the mission, vision and values of St John of God, a humble 16th century man who, following a torturous experience in a medieval psychiatric hospital in Spain, went on to revolutionise the care and treatment of patients.

The Order aims to provide services that meet the individual needs of vulnerable and disadvantaged people, promoting their independence and making a difference to the way they live.

The Charity does not discriminate on the grounds of race, religion, gender, social status and sexual orientation with regards to both co-workers and people who use the Charity’s services and ensures all are treated with the same respect, dignity and justice

This order is also represented in India. They can be reached at: and telephone 00-91-44-627 2348
