The Jaipur foundation aims to provide a home for homeless children in Jaipur - India. The foundation helps these children to build a safe and meaningful future by offering shelter, general education, medical care and specific job training through starting, financing and managing projects. These can also be smaller projects within a larger scope.
At present Jaipur Foundation is running the the following projects:
- Kilkari children's villageSo far accommodation for board and lodging has been built. A school with special classrooms for job training and accommodations for the staff has also been realized, and a medical facility is being established.
- Balashram Public School20 children from extremely poor families are sponsored so that they can attend school.
- Child-InnThis is the first project of the Jaipur foundation. In January 1999 the foundation bought a house in Jaipur and named it CHILD-INN. This house opens its doors to any child brought in by social workers who might pick them up off the streets or at a train station, for instance.
