Aniel Algoe is a Bharata Natyam dancer, teacer and choreographer. In Suriname he learnt Bharata Natyam under the guidance of guru Smt. Madhoerie Jagmohan.

Aniel’s first appearance was at his official initiation ceremony as dancer (Arangetram) on May 26, 2001. He followed training at the Ponnaiya Lalitha- Kala Academy under the  guidance of smt. guru Padmini Rao. Aniel also followed training in talam of the mridamgam Maestro Vidwan S.V. Giradhara.

In his daily profession as costume designer he provides designs and other artful guidance at several cultural events. His profession also helps him to enhance the Bharata Natyam experience since he designs the costumes for his own performances.

Aniel is active as teacher, choreographer, dancer as well as costume designer.

Aniel has performed both in and outside the Netherlands.
