Koeleman Foods B.V. is a more than a century old company headquartered in Ter Aar. Koeleman Foods is a producer of conserved canned and bottled food products. Gherkins (pickled cucumbers) and pickled onions are two of the products produced by them. Koeleman caters both for the retail as well as for the industrial market.
In 1997 Koleman Foods B.V. opened a production in unit in Bangalore where labour-intensive pickled products are packaged for the European, North American and Australian markets.
