ICET was founded in 1993 and is the leading expert in extrication techniques with liaison offices in different countries.
Over the years, with input from its own research and development, industrial and academic sources as well as from the field, ICET created the Systematic Approach to Victim Entrapment Rescue, SAVER.
The International Center of Emergency Techniques 's consultancy department has assisted numerous local and national governments, as well NGO's in developing programmes to establish, support and upgrade emergency response networks. Under its RENUTM programme ICET has worked also in India.
ICET carried out a Feasibility Study Rapid Response System for the Ministry of Indian Railways. At present ICET is associated with:
